In 2004, he became deputy chief of mission at the French Embassy in Madagascar. Bottrie joined the EADS Group in 2006. After first being responsible for EADS Division Eurocopter’s relations with public-sector and political organisations and institutions in France, he was appointed Director of International Strategic Business at EADS in 2011.
