Kratos Defense & Security Solutions, Inc., a leading National Security Solutions provider, announced today that it has received a new order for its Black Hawk Avionics Trainer (BHAT-M) to support the training of maintenance personnel for the UH-60M US Army Aviation Logistics School in Ft. Eustis, VA.
The BHAT-M is a full fidelity trainer that provides a true-to-life environment for training and evaluating utility helicopter service personnel in fault isolation and maintenance of the UH-60M avionics and associated subsystems. The BHAT-M supports all the critical tasks necessary to train MOS (Military Occupational Specialty) 15N10/30 Avionics Mechanics. Typical 15N training tasks include trouble shooting, isolation of faults and restoration of functionality.
The UH-60M is the current version of the US Army's trusted Black Hawk utility helicopter platform. Kratos designed and manufactured and will integrate, test and install the BHAT utilizing its extensive, in-depth knowledge of this and other military aircraft systems. The UH-60M will be in production for the US Army through FY2017 with a life cycle expectancy beyond 2025. Kratos is poised and ready to continue to provide life cycle training systems support to our Warfighter on this mission critical platform.

Kratos has supplied numerous training solutions to the US Army and other military services with a specific expertise in maintenance training solutions for C5ISR and key Warfighter platforms such as the CH-47F Chinook, AH-64 Apache, M1A2 Abrams and M147 High Mobility Artillery Rocket System (HIMARS).
Also announced were contracts with Army Aviation and Missile Command (AMCOM) commands to supply sustainment products and services to existing Kratos built training devices. The total of all of the awards is approximately $6.2 million including the new BHAT-M trainer.
