Kratos Defense & Security Solutions, Inc., a leading National Security Solutions provider, announced today that it has received a new order for its Black Hawk Avionics Trainer (BHAT-M) to support the training of maintenance personnel for the UH-60M US Army Aviation Logistics School in Ft. Eustis, VA.

The BHAT-M is a full fidelity trainer that provides a true-to-life environment for training and evaluating utility helicopter service personnel in fault isolation and maintenance of the UH-60M avionics and associated subsystems. Typical 15N training tasks include trouble shooting, isolation of faults and restoration of functionality.

The UH-60M is the current version of the US Army's trusted Black Hawk utility helicopter platform. The UH-60M will be in production for the US Army through FY2017 with a life cycle expectancy beyond 2025. Kratos is poised and ready to continue to provide life cycle training systems support to our Warfighter on this mission critical platform.

Phil Carrai, President of the Kratos Technology and Training Division, stated, "We are very pleased to continue to assist the US Army to ensure the readiness, reliability and operational effectiveness of the UH-60M. As the leading manufacturer for maintenance training systems for the Black Hawk platform over the last 10 years, Kratos is an established partner for high performance training systems."

Also announced were contracts with Army Aviation and Missile Command (AMCOM) commands to supply sustainment products and services to existing Kratos built training devices. The total of all of the awards is approximately $6.2 million including the new BHAT-M trainer.
