Toronto, Canada | Newcon Optik, a leading manufacturer and distributor of electro-optic devices for military, law enforcement, and civilian use, will debut at Shot Show 2012 its most advanced
long range laser rangefinder to date, the LRB 12K.
According to Peter Biro, President & CEO of Newcon Optik, “The LRB 12K is a rugged, MIL-SPEC rangefinder with a true measuring distance of 12 kilometers to a NATO-standard target. The device
incorporates more than 5 years of advanced research into its sleek, ergonomic design and is a direct result of feedback we have received from tactical users around the world.”
The LRB 12K is developed and manufactured in-house at Newcon Optik’s Toronto, Canada facility. Close attention was paid to designing a device with the industry’s most comprehensive package of
performance, features and value. A class 1 eye-safe rangefinder, the LRB 12K utilizes lightweight mechanics, optics and electronics to allow for accurate handheld use on long range targets. Built
in RS-232 and USB outputs allows for interoperability with other devices depended upon by tactical professionals in the field.
Newcon Optik will be showcasing the LRB 12K alongside the company’s full line of laser rangefinders, thermal imagers, night vision systems, laser aimers and tactical day optics in booth #10067 at
SHOT Show 2012.
