The Royal Canadian Air Force C-17 that was supposed to get off the ground early Tuesday couldn’t quite make it. The aircraft’s departure was put on hold due to generator and electrical problems, and a second plane had to be assigned to the mission, according to CTV.
DND has just issued this statement to Defence Watch:
“The aircraft was airborne from Trenton at 12:10 eastern. It should arrive in La Tube (France) at approximately 19:20 eastern.”
From there is will eventually fly to Mali.
