Odesa | The Ukrainian Air Forces Air Command South, headed by Lieutenant General Pavlo Zuev, accepted two L-39 combat training aircraft after their overhaul at Odessaaviaremservice factory.
For the first time, an essentially new type of a camouflage – a pixelized digital camouflage – was laid on the L-39. It makes the aircraft silhouette dim and complicates its identification in the air.
Ukroboronprom enterprises perform aircraft maintenance and modernization within the state defense order for 2012. Up to the end of this year, the armed forces will receive 16 additional aircraft of this class after a major overhaul.
The fruitful cooperation of Ukroboronprom and the Defense Ministry showed good results in the military aircraft renewal. This joint program is extremely important for both the national enterprises and Air Forces pilots training.
