Update on RCAF C-17 Mission To Mali

From the MND’s office:

Yesterday, the C17 returned to Le Tubé, France and continued on to Évreux-Fauville Air Base where a second equipment load was prepared for transport to Mali.

At Évreux-Fauville Air Base, Canadian personnel helped load four vehicles on to the C17, including two transport carriers, and transported them to Senou Airport in Bamako, via Le Tubé, arriving in Bamako this morning at 950am local (450am EST).  The weight of this equipment totalled 86, 200 lbs.

Canada’s C17 is en route back to France.
