On 18 April, about 50 representatives of 27 OSCE member states (Belgium, Hungary, Germany, Georgia, Denmark, Spain, Italy, Kazakhstan, Canada, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxemburg, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Russia, Romania, Slovakia, Great Britain, the USA, Ukraine, Finland, France, Czech Republic, Switzerland, Sweden and Estonia) have arrived in Belarus under the 1999 Vienna Document of the Negotiations on Confidence- and Security-Building Measures. According to the agenda, the representatives of the Belarusian Defence Ministry and the General Staff will hold briefings before the representatives of the foreign states. On 20-21 April, the OSCE representatives will visit the 61st fighter airbase and 11th independent mechanised brigade. The foreign guests will attend briefings on the tasks and current activities of these military units, familiarise themselves with the main samples of the armament and military equipment and meet with the commanders and personnel of the units.
