Chen Bingde, member of the Central Military Commission (CMC) and chief of general staff of the Chinese People’s Liberation Army (PLA), stressed that it is imperative to deepen military training reform at the meeting of deepening military training reform of the PLA on March 29.

 

Chen Bingde pointed out that this meeting presented a practical move to implement the overall plan of the PLA military reform and the Opinions on Further Boosting Military Training Transition issued by the CMC.

It is important to let military struggle preparations drive forward training reform, with the focus laid on enhancing the core military capacity.

 

It is also important to take the training in military operations other than war into overall consideration.

 

Moreover, it is essential to uphold the systematic construction thought to guide the training reform, so as to ensure the organic connection and coordinated development of the military training reform and other military reforms.
