TEL AVIV, Israel, Feb. 8 (UPI)

An unidentified country has ordered $158 million worth of fire control radars from Israel's Elta Systems Ltd.

Elta's ELM-2032 would be installed on the customer's combat aircraft and would provide enhanced surveillance and fire control capabilities for weapons systems.

Israel Aerospace Industries, Elta's parent organization, said the ELM-2032 had been developed with input from fighter pilots and has air-to-air, air-to-ground and air-to-sea modes for tracking and locking onto maneuvering targets. It has a modular hardware design, can be customized for customer requirements and can be used on a variety of aircraft.

The system will be on display at next week's air show in Singapore.

IAI said other products on display include data link network technology, including those for fourth-generation cellular and software-defined radios. Anti-ballistic missiles, tactical rockets and unmanned aerial vehicles will also be showcased.

In announcing the order for the ELM-2032, IAI didn't disclose a delivery schedule for the units.
