Brussels - 13 October 2011 EDA News
The European Air Transport Fleet (EATF) partnership, signed by 19 participating Member States (pMS), aims at developing concrete solutions to increase the efficiency of all (existing and future) air transport assets, made available by the participating Member States for military needs and optimisation of airlift organisations and structures, through far reaching coordination.
In order to improve airlift aircrew preparation and interoperability, and to exchange information on recent operational lessons identified, EDA organises a European Air Transport Symposium for airlift operators on 18 and 19 October 2011, at the European Air Transport Command (EATC) in Eindhoven (NL).
The objective is to exchange tactical user’s experience and discuss particular airlift issues. During the first day, presentations will be provided on specific topics (Night Vision Goggles, Medevac, Battle damage repair, etc.). The second day will be dedicated to syndicate discussions on a variety of subjects.
This symposium is restricted to air transport aircrews of EU Member States and to representatives of EU Institutions and bodies.
