Iraqi Army gets Radar Rocket, Artillery Detector

Sunday, January 16, 2011 BAGHDAD — U.S. artillerymen recently began a new training program on Forward Operating Base Constitution with the Iraqi Army to assist them in combating terrorist indirect-fire-attacks.

The fire finder radar system training is a 30-day class designed to teach the IA how to operate and maintain a system that will allow them to detect and track incoming artillery and rocket fire.
