Specialist communications producer L-3 Communications has been awarded a contract to build two F-16C Block 52 aircrew training devices for the Pakistan Air Force.
The deal is worth $20.5 million, said the US Department of Defence. The package also includes the computer equipment associated with the training devices.
The deal covers one simulator for the F-16A Block 15/52 air training system (ATS), and one F-16C Block 52 ATS.
Also included are 18 panel "simuspheres", 21 months of logistics support (12 months on-site and nine on-call) and various related hardware and software systems.
The package also includes instructor and operator stations and full weapons simulation.
