BRUSSELS | Dmytro Salamatin, Defense Minister of Ukraine, and Admiral James Stavridis, Supreme Commander of NATO in Europe, met at NATO HQ in Brussels on October 10.
Admiral James Stavridis, Supreme Commander of NATO in Europe, appraised the contribution of Ukraine to Alliance efforts to strengthen security all over the world, especially Ukraine’s joining to Ocean Shield anti-piracy operation, Ukrainian frigate Hetman Sahaidachny will participate in these evolutions in 2013.
“We’ll continue our cooperation and are ready to support anti-piracy efforts of international community,” Dmytro Salamatin emphasized.
