People's Liberation Army Air Force officials has denied the rumor that a J-10B Vigorous Dragon fighter jet has crashed in Xi'an by saying that it is a complete fiction.
Story of the PLAAF's J-10B fighter aircraft crash in the Yan Liang district of Xi'an, Shanxi province has recently appeared in the internet which also claimed that pilot of the fighter jet was not able to survive the crash and died in line of duty.
J-10B fighter jet is an improved version of J-10 A which features new chin-mounted diverterless supersonic inlet (DSI) air intake, Active Electronically Scanned Array (AESA )radar and Electro-Optic Targeting System (EOTS).
