Russia will help Indonesia to create a light tank. On it informs "Interfax" referring to the director of "Rosoboronexport" roving Nicholas Dimidyuk.

"Of course we could help. Let's see how we do it. Perhaps you first need to collect the constructors of the two countries, they will find common platform" - quoted Dimidyuk agency.

According to the "Rosoboronexport", to discuss the construction of a light tank is planned during the visit of the Indonesian delegation to the Kurgan. On what platform will be built tank for Indonesia is not specified. Currently, the "Kurganmashzavod" is developing a unified platform for the average tracked armored "Kurganets-25."

The main purpose of the visit to Kurgan, Indonesians will acceptance of previously ordered infantry fighting vehicles BMP-3F. Concluded in May 2012, a deal to supply 37 BMP was estimated at 114 million dollars.

In total, Indonesia in the next two years may purchase 60 BMP-3F. In September 2007, Indonesia received the Russian loan of one billion dollars. For funds Jakarta ordered 18 multipurpose helicopters Mi-17-V5, five attack helicopters Mi-35P and 20 BMP-3F.
