UK MoD Single Supplier Contract Review - Defence Industry Comment

A|D|S today (Wednesday) commented on the announcement of a review on single supplier defence contracts from the UK Ministry of Defence.

Rees Ward, Chief Executive of A|D|S the UK's aerospace, defence, security and space trade organisation, said:

"The 300,000 employees working in the defence industry from across the whole of the UK take great pride in delivering the best possible equipment to our Armed Forces. A|D|S looks forward to taking part in the review on behalf of all of its defence sector members and welcomes the opportunity to continue to deliver value for money to the taxpayer as well as to simplify the defence procurement process to ensure that small and medium sized enterprises can play their full part in it. We will work alongside the CBI to ensure that the voice of the defence industry – worth over £35 billion per year – is heard during the discussions."
