Indian Navy's first Scorpene-class submarine to launch in 2014 - Naval Technology
15 April 2013 The Indian Navy's first Scorpene-class submarine (SSK) will be launched by DCNS in 2014, as part of the technology transfer agreement between the two countries, French ambassador Francois Richier has announced. Richier was quoted by Press Trust of India as saying: "The first submarine would be ready by 2014, heralding an important and strategic tie-up between both the nations on the defence front."
