The RAF has been wowing the crowds at the Waddington Air Show where 145,000 people turned out to see the Service do what it does best. A flypast by Waddington-based Sentry aircraft, from 8 Squadron, provided the curtain-raiser to this year's show, and the familiar Avro Lancaster bomber escorted by a Spitfire and Hurricane from the RAF's Battle of Britain Memorial Flight made an appearance. Over the two days, several other displays took place, including one by the RAF's own Red Arrows (pictured), and the UK's only full-time civilian aerobatic team, the Blades.
