MCLEAN, Va. | Centurum, a recognized industry leader in delivering world-wide Command and Control Systems, Training, and Cyber Solutions, was awarded a performance-based contract to provide Command and Control Systems support for new Department of Defense (DoD) integrated systems/networks. If all options and award terms are exercised the work could continue through April 2019 and bring the cumulative value of this contract to an estimated $77M. The initial phase of work will be performed in Suffolk, Virginia in support of the Joint and Coalition Warfare component of the US Joint Forces Command that will now report to the US Joint Chiefs of Staff. Centurum will coordinate and execute this important work from its CMMI-accredited facilities in Chesapeake, VA and Charleston, SC, homes to Centurum’s Command and Control Systems, Networks and System Engineering Integration and Testing (SEI&T) teams.

 

The broad scope of this work includes: Command Center C2 Systems; Command Center Information Technology (IT); IT Infrastructure design, prototyping, implementation, management, and operation; C2 Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) systems engineering for experimentation; Collaborative Information Environment (CIE) development and implementation; Joint training and IT systems design, implementation, and support; Cross-domain Solutions; and Enterprise Content Management for the Enterprise Information Systems Competency (Code 5.4) of the Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command (SPAWAR) Systems Center, Atlantic (SSC-LANT). This contract will provide support for the Joint National Training Capability (JNTC) and major Joint and coalition training and technology demonstration events including: Unified Endeavor, Talisman Saber, Austere Challenge, Turbo Challenge and others.

 

Centurum was awarded this competitively procured contract based upon its demonstrated experience and proven capabilities in delivering the full spectrum of Command and Control Systems Support to the US Department of Defense including: Systems Engineering, System Design, Information Assurance, Modeling and Simulation, Net-centric Enterprise Services, Information Systems, Information Systems Transfer, Power Infrastructure Support, and Program Management. Centurum is a solution provider for the DoD’s Information Superiority requirements – delivering seamless Command and Control Systems, networks, integrated sensors, training solutions and data analysis to the warfighter.

 

This contract (N65236-11-D-4800) was competitively procured by SSC-LANT and posted to the Federal Business Opportunities website and the SPAWAR e-Commerce Central website, with six offers received.
