NEW YORK, July 6 (UPI)
Two U.S. companies specializing in counter-explosive services have formed an official strategic alliance to leverage combined capabilities.
The Stapleton Group and Explosive Countermeasures International Inc. said the accord, which builds upon past collaboration, will broaden the exploration of a wider range of opportunities for each and provide competitive market advantages for the bomb dog and explosive detection firms.
"We are certainly very pleased to solidify our relationship with Explosive Countermeasures," said Michael Stapleton, Stapleton Group corporate director. "The marketplace for bomb dogs and explosives detection services is truly global and this alliance of talent and resources will allow us to collectively pursue opportunities wherever they may present themselves.
"It positions us well to collaboratively gain share of the highly competitive explosive detection business."
Megan Kelley, chief executive officer of Explosive Countermeasures International, said: "We see tremendous opportunities to grow our bomb dog and explosives detection business in markets throughout the U.S. and other parts world. …
"This alliance gives us the ability to compete for a far more diverse spectrum of opportunities over a far broader geographic range."
