Ms. Claude-France Arnould at the Munich Security Conference

After EDA’s Annual Conference, dedicated to “Refocusing Defence”, another key momentum on the global security and defence agenda was established: the well-known Munich Security Conference (MSC) was held last weekend in Germany. MSC is a major security policy conference worldwide which brings together senior figures from around the world to engage in an intensive debate on current and future security challenges.

For several decades, the Munich Security Conference has provided international policy makers with an independent forum where they can discuss the most pressing political challenges facing the world. In times when defence budget constraints and pooling and sharing solutions are at the top of security and defence agendas, Ms. Claude-France Arnould, EDA’s Chief Executive, delivered a speech on “Smart Defense, the EU and the Future of the Transatlantic Alliance”; the video of the pannel is available here and a side interview is available here.
