KYIV | Vice Admiral Ihor Kabanenko, Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, reported on the Ukraine’s participation in the Ocean Shield operation following year.
According to the Vice Admiral Ihor Kabanenko, participation in such operations will allow Ukraine to accede to the mutual protection system.
“This is a serious step that directly affects extent of protection of Ukrainian sailors and ships operating in international maritime trade routes,” Vice Admiral Igor Kabanenko said.
