The Brazilian Army has inducted into service the Marruá AM 31 1½ tonnes 4×4 light utility truck from the local automotive maker Agrale SA.
Marruá AM 31 is powered by a Cummins ISF 2.8 diesel engine coupled to a Eaton FS 2305C transmission. It has a weight of 5.300 kg, payload of 1.500 kg and a top speed of 111.5 km/h.
The Exército Brasileiro (EB) and the Brazilian Navy´s Marine Corps currently operate large quantities of the Marruá of different configurations.
